Please Tell How To Raise Credit Score Quickly With Easy Steps?

RIght now my credit score is 490

If you could do it easy and quickly… every body would have a great credit score and the scores would be useless.

It does not happen over night and it doesn’t happen fast.

Get a credit card, use 10% of the card’s limit in a month, pay that off in full when the bill comes and wait a year or two…. and you will have established good credit for the short time you had credit already.

Your credit history comes from the monthly payments that are reported to your credit report by the credit card companies and loan companies. Make the payments on time and don’t fall behind and eventually you will have a good credit score that shows prospective lenders that you handle your financial obligations in a responsible manner.

Which is what they are looking for when they have to decide whether or not to lend you money.

How to raise credit score in 8 months in order to buy home?

I filed for bankruptcy in 2007, my current credit score is 640. How can I raise my credit score before purchasing a home?

You can raise your credit score by paying your bills on time, every month, for many months in a row, and for paying down the amount you owe. If you make a payment on a credit card, and then use it to charge the same amount, you’re not making progress, and you won’t improve your credit score much. The amount you owe has to go down a significant amount to have a significant effect.

Will my student loan help raise credit score from bankruptcy?

I filed a bankruptcy in 4/09 and I want to start re-establishing credit. I still have my federal student loan on my report, will this help? Or will I need to get a credit card?

No. You will need to get a loan (i.e. credit card or auto loan).

What are the best ways to raise your credit score from bad to good or great?

I paid off 3 of my 5 credit cards last year and this year the last 2 should be taken care of with taxes. I also plan to start paying on other debts I have. My credit score is terrible at the moment so I am wondering what I can do to help raise it and also wondering how long would it take it get up to the good to great rating

paying your debt helps your credit but you also have to have active credit meaning you have to have a loan credit card that you are using and making payments on time, this shows the creditors that you are not only paying off your debts but you are also being responsible with your current debts….What I would do if I was you is get a small loan with your local bank or better yet get a small credit card use it for gas a couple of times a month and pay it off at the end of the month, this will look good on your credit…. if your credit is not so good still you might have to get a lower end credit card meaning you have to pay an annual fee but that is ok for 3-6 months but after then you could apply for a better one without an annual fee and lower rates, check out www.fastcreditcardapprovals.com here you will be able to compare them side by credit….

How can I raise my credit score 15 points?

My credit score right now is a 515, and I just applied for an apartment but was denied since the credit score isn’t a 530. What can I do to raise this score to a 530? They said I can try again in a month, so I want to try and bump it up by then. I’m going through a credit consolidation agency, so monthly payments are being made.

How much can 2 years of Perfect payments on my Auto loan raise my Credit Score?

I’ve had my car for 2 years now and its been set on auto draft since day one so its always been paid on time without an issue. How much does this raise my credit score? I also have a small credit card that has also been paid on time for 2 years now. I’ve always paid at least 5 times the minimum payment, never been over my limit, and always pay at least 2 weeks early. How much can this boost my credit score?

Paying early or extra does not boost your credit score, the only thing that does is paying on time. The longer your history gets, the better your credit rating. If you have anything detrimental on your credit report you’re fighting an uphill battle. Additionally, if your credit card is run up to greater than 30% of the limit that will lower your credit score too.

I don’t think any of us could begin to accurately calculate all of the values of the factors contributing to your score–especially since the formula for the FICO score is proprietary. You can try the FICO estimator here: http://www.myfico.com/FICOCreditScoreEstimator/ That gives you an estimate of your score, but it isn’t a guaranteed score. Mine was actually higher than the estimator thought.

I have a credit card limit of $500 where should I keep my balance to raise my credit score?

I am young and broke, what is the most i can have on the credit card and still raise my credit score?

Making purchases and paying it off each month is fine. Some prior clown said paying it off makes you a deadbeat… this is in the eyes of the credit card companies. They don’t determine your FICO by how much money you make for the credit card company. It is determined by percentage of available credit in use, your payment history and age of accounts. Please see:
http://www.myfico.com/CreditEducation/WhatsInYourScore.aspx

Don’t apply for more cards either. 2 major cards are perfect. Your FICO takes an 8 point hit just to have credit pulled and then negative impact for frequent credit inquiries and new accounts.
