Buying 2 houses, does it help rebuilding a broken credit score?

You need somewhat good credit to even buy a house, let alone two. So I’m not sure how you are buying these houses and are still concerned about credit, since your credit check will come before you can buy the houses (get a loan). IF you somehow get these houses, and always make payments on time, then yes, it would build a nice credit history…but you can also do that with any credit card or utility bill.

the only thing that will help rebuild your credit score is to pay your bills on time and to not close any recent accounts that your have opened ( credit cards, loans, etc.)

If you can afford to buy 2 houses, what the heck do you care about your credit score?

I would think that buying 2 houses when you have bad credit will only hurt it more until you have a long pattern of making the payments on both houses on time.

Not right away. Only by accumulating a couple years’ worth of on-time payments will your score significantly increase.
