Help with credit scores, IVA’s and Bankruptcy, someone in the know please?
I am getting really frustrated. In 2006 I went into an IVA but paid it off early in June last year. I am completely clear of all debt but every time I try and apply for anything I get declined because my credit file says I am bankrupt. How can I make my credit file tell the truth?!!
I know the IVA will stay on my file for 6 years but it says I AM bankrupt. Most people with previous IVAs can get some sort of credit card with a high APR to rebuild credit. I only want a credit card so I can hire a car in USA!!!!
hi the iva is on you for 6 years from the start of your iva so it will be on till 2012 have a look at the iva.com
