Kirby’s Moves – History Behind Super Smash Bros. Brawl

PLEASE READ BEFORE YOU WATCH. THIS IS GETTING OUT OF HAND…

This is the history behind Kirby’s Moves THAT HAVEN’T BEEN MENTIONED BY CRAPPYCAPTUREDEVICE. These are the moves that have actually came from his other games, and haven’t been made up. Some of his moves I THINK are history, but it’s hard to tell since they’d be far off from them.

Kirby Super Star Footage credit does to “whoisthisgit” for letting me use parts of his video.

    Because it feels …
Because it feels like nobody AT ALL reads the description, I’m disabling comments.

These are moves that WEREN’T covered by CrappyCaptureDevice.

I know a missed a lot of things. They were already covered by him.

I know there were a few other things that I didn’t cover that he didn’t. My mistake.

Since he’s back to making History Behind Brawl videos, I’m not making anymore, and I’m probably going to take this one and the other two down when he covers them.

    Have a nice day.

Don’t get me wrong, i love kirby and i have nothing against you, but look at Mario’s history of move and where he gets them, it even shows where his taunts come from! You didn’t even cover all of his moves! I’m not trying to be mean or ruin the vid or anything, but kirby’s my fav character of all time in anything, so i freak out some times… i’m jst trying to make my point.

    I know exactly what …
I know exactly what you mean. I mean, Kirby is awesome and all that, but the Wario, Yoshi, Mother, and G&W series hardly have any attention at all. How are you supposed to make a small series bigger if you don’t even make it noticeable?

The ROB and Pit b …
The ROB and Pit b moves are nice catches. It actually makes sense in these cases, because ROB and Pit’s movesets had very little to go on, so their B-moves at least could be based on the Kirby games.

Leave it to Sakurai, though. I swear, the Kirby games get so much attention to detail in Brawl that’s kinda lacking in the other franchises.

    I don’t think the …
I don’t think the way Kirby’s Rob laser works is so much a coincidence. Remember, from CrappyCaptureDevices vid, he notes that Kirby, using Bowser’s ability, has the same animations as Fire Kirby. It could be the same sort of thing, really, for the laser to act the same was as it does for Kirby as it does for Rob. After all, the creator of Smash is the same person who created Kirby, so he could have intentionally done that.

    Also, Kirbys side …
Also, Kirbys side taunt (when he quickly spins and stops on one foot) is from the original ssb when you chose him on the character select screen.

    Still though; it’s …
Still though; it’s cute how similar they are. I mean it’s obvious it’s not meant to be a direct reference, but who’s to say that when they created Pit and ROB the HAL programmers didn’t say “Hey wait, make sure you give them this moveset so that our kirby can look like this for an inside joke”?

    the only reason …
the only reason theyre the same is laser kirby’s attack is similar to robs, and cupid kirby’s is similar to pits. i dont mean to be mean, just saying that its not from the kirby games, its from the opponent
