If your bank …
If your bank account is negative the bank will get their money if you have direct depsit set up otherwise you’ll have to make a deposit by a certain deadline or they will close the account and probably turn it over to a collection agency. That is where it can hurt your credit and prevent you from opening another account with other banks.
