Old Navy is nasty!!! The whole place smells like a shipping container and nearly everthing is made in China. A thrift store has better quality items for a far better price.

    George, I’m really …
George, I’m really appreciating your videos – just found your channel a few days ago.

Don’t be too hard on the Old Navy employee as I used to work in retail and the management really pushes employees to push the card – they even have quotas and they may even fire you if you don’t keep your numbers up. I wouldn’t do it and quit after I got sick of the pressure. These days, I imagine anyone with a job is just happy to try and make their overlords happy.

    Are you a …
Are you a moron George? A credit score is a good thing and it measures the likely hood of a person paying back money owed in a timely fashion. A credit score is a risk measurement tool for lenders be it for someone who wants to buy a house, a car or other items for purchase. Now should you use credit cards to live above your means, that’s another discussion.

Later it turned out that the car was not his it was his mother inlaws.

He didn’t have a dime and his advice cost me 2,000. bucks.I was young at the time.

There is no law, this is just how we have let our society become. I didn’t say I agree with it, but just to say that a credit score is meaningless is irresponsible.

Show me such a law. That is just the mass hypnosis kicking into people brains that tell them to tell this to everyone.

We all need to end this crap and the people who ask for such credit will be force to longer ask for it because their inventory would burst.

good vid George! when are people gonna learn, you cant count on credit, cause you cant count on the economy to provide them jobs with security to pay those loans back. HOW MANY PEOPLE DO YOU KNOW THAT HAVE BEEN AT THEIR JOB FOR 30 YEARS, TO PAY FOR THAT 30 YEAR MORTGAGE???

I told my daughter if she ever messes with credit I would rewrite my will, and give my life savings to a worthy charity!

You do need to have …
You do need to have a credit score that will enable you to buy a home, rent an apartment, buy a new car.

If you want to live only on cash, that’s fine, but for a majority of people, that will never happen.

It used to be that …
It used to be that having credit card accounts open but unused greatly increased you score. They fixed that, but being a transactor still artificially inflates your credit score more than any other factor.

No late payments, keep the balances low (paying off the cards twice a month helps assure this). If you have multiple cards, make sure your primary card is very dominant – significant balances on multiple cards immediately reduce your score as do balance spikes, until paid off.

    Nice to say. Nice …
Nice to say. Nice to hear, & i agree however, like it or not these days people ARE judged by their credit score instead of the content of their character. Isn’t it just wonderful.?! So they win? Which do we thank first?!?

    George, I don’t …
George, I don’t fully agree with you.

Let me quote you, you said, “if you are working 2 jobs to pay off your credit card bill, you are a freaking idiot”.

My take on this, “If you are working 2 jobs to pay off your credit card bill, then STOP spending, you MORON”

    You should have said that.

I used to be really proud of my great credit score.

Then I “woke up” and now all I am interested in with regards to credit cards is getting completely out of debt.
