How can i increase my credit score?

I need a loan for my business but my credit its low and i have few unpaid accounts. Id like to know how can i increase my credit score to get a loan?

First of all you need to lower your debt utilization (the amount you owe compared to your total line of credit). A utilization ratio above 30% hurts your score, and higher does even more damage.

First pay off the unpaid accounts, then pay off any of your credit cards, do not apply for any credit and keep your credit card usage under 10% if possible and never ever be more then 30 days late on a payment, this is a score killer!

Check the source I have referenced, they are the experts when it comes to credit scores.

Hope this helps answer your question.

Pay those unpaid accounts and never pay a minimum fee. They charge intrest so $10 dollars turns into $100 shortly.

go open an account, a store card at somewhere like Home Depot, buy some thing small like $5 a month, and pay it off every month in full. It’ll show up on your credit as an account that’s always been paid on time.

I would need more information to provide any useful information.

bring your accounts current. Work with the creditors to have them report your accounts as current in exchange for payment in full. Most will do this as they only want their money.

Pay revolving debt down to give you a lower credit/debt ratio.

    To raise credit score

    1. Always pay on time or ahead of time.
    2. maintain low balances on credit cards
3.To boost your score: Don’t charge anything for at least 60 days before applying for a loan
    4. keep your total potential debt to earnings load low – If you have a card with a $15000 credit line, you may ask them to reduce it to something more realistic, like $5000.
    5. You should have a recent history of both installment or term (Car or house loans) and revolving credit.
6.To boost your score: Don’t close unused accounts when you transfer debt.
7.To boost your score: Consider opening another credit-card account or two, or taking out a car loan or small bank loan.
